ABOUT POSH FIT CLASSES
The pole technique classes at Posh Fit Studio have been created to educate students on technical safety while exercising with pole fitness. Our program is designed to be flexible so that students are able to progress at their desired pace, setting and meeting personal goals through individual motivation.
Our class levels generally follow the PDC syllabus. Please check out our Class Descriptions page for an example of moves and spins which are included in each level.

FAQ's
What classes do you recommend I start with?
All students are required to attend Pole Technique Level 1 (L1)/ (L1-2) before attending any higher level technique classes without prior consent. Do I need to be in good shape to come to my first class? No! Each student is on her own journey. You do not need to be able to lift your own body weight prior to coming to class (most students cannot on day one). Come as you are; level one moves can be varied to many levels and abilities. There is something for everyone! What do I wear? Beginners are encouraged to wear comfortable work-out clothes that allow for freedom of movement. Attire such as yoga pants, t-shirts, tank tops, sports bras and shorts are all suitable for pole fitness. For more advanced classes, shorts such as "boy shorts" and yoga shorts are recommended, as they allow for the contact necessary for the body to "grip" the pole while performing advanced aerial tricks and holds. What are the age requirements? All students must be 18+ years old and are required to sign a waiver before participating in any classes or parties at Posh Fit. What is your cancellation policy for classes? Class sizes at Posh Fit are limited to 12 participants; because of this, when unable to attend a class, participants are required to cancel and reschedule a class 12 HOURS PRIOR to their scheduled class time. If a 12-Hour notice is not given, that class time will be forfeited. What is your refund policy? Refunds will not be given after workshops, classes, private sessions, or parties are purchased. Do I need to bring anything? Bring bottled water to each class in order to stay hydrated! We use yoga mats during warm-up. If you have your own, please feel free to bring it along. We do have mats at the studio for $1 rental, as well as mats available for purchase. Is there any other information I should know? For your safety, all pieces of jewelry should be removed prior to class or private dance session, particularly rings and bracelets. Please refrain from using lotions and oils the day of class. Lotions and oils will make the poles slippery, causing them to be dangerous to you and other students. |
