POLE TECHNIQUE CLASSES
Pole Technique Level 1
If you are new to pole or have not mastered our beginner spins, walks and transitions, this is the class for you! Proper body mechanics including how to execute moves safely using the proper muscles will be emphasized. As with all technique classes, a flirty strength training warm up will get your muscles ready for all your pole work. 

Moves to Be Mastered at This Level:
  • Pole Pull-Ups from Seated & Standing Positions with Variations: Bent Knee Legs in Back and Front of Pole, Front Pole ‘V’, Pose, and Slides Down Pole
  • Pole 1st Position
  • Back Bend
  • Back Slides
  • Spins to Be Mastered at This Level: (Emphasis on Pointed Toes & Booty/Hip Up!)
  • Around the World Spin
  • Fireman (Basic & Flirty/Pin-Up)
  • Back Hook Spin - With & Without Girl-on-Top Spin
  • Pole Sit-from-Standing at Pole
  • Basic Climb Half-Way Up Pole

Pole Technique Level 2
In Level 2, Level 1 spins are reviewed with an emphasis on performing them 1-handed. Level 2 introduces students to various new grips, holds, spins, and combos.

Moves & Spins to Be Mastered at This Level:0
  • 1 Climb into Sit Position (1-Arm Release)
  • Stripper Strut
  • Pirouette
  • Fan Kick
  • Basic Plank: 2-Handed from the Ground Sit
  • Headstand
All Level 1 Spins: 1-Handed
  • Fireman Lift / Standing Fireman
  • Peter Pan
  • Front Hook Spin 
  • Hollywood Spin
  • Push/Pull Spins: Chair, Straddle, Pinwheel, Sunwheel, & Firefly
  • Corkscrew / Spin-strong Hold & Push/Pull

Pole Technique Level 3
Level 3 is the introduction to inverts. Be prepared to see the world upside down!! Additionally, emphasis will be placed on climbs and dismounts. Safety is number one and spotting by instructor is required for all inverts until students display the technical ability to complete movements on their own.

  • Climbs: Basic, Spin, & Climb Sit
  • Shoulder Mount Prep from the Floor & Standing with Leg Prance
  • 1-Handed Plank
  • Sitting V / Wrist Sit
  • Handstand
  • Gorgeous
  • Black Widow / Reverse Grab Spin
  • Forward & Reverse Attitude
  • Combos: Straddle-to-Gorgeous, Girl-on-Top-to-Reverse Attitude

Inverts to Be Mastered at This Level:
  • Prep Inversion from Floor
  • Basic Inversion
  • Helicopter
  • Upside-Down Crucifix
  • Leg Hang Preps (using hands): Gemini (outside leg) & Scorpio (inside leg)
  • Handstands & Variations
  • Pike

Pole Technique Levels 4 & 5
Level 4 & 5 expand upon a strong foundation of Level 3 knowledge. Strength and flexibility will play a large part of the movements at this level. Students are encouraged to continue attending lower level classes to ensure muscle memory and perfect their technical style.

  • Climbs: Forearm Holds / Bracket Climb, Side-Climb & Scissor Climb, Caterpillar

POSH-FITNESS CLASSES

Stiletto Sculpt
 Tone and sculpt lean muscles in with a stiletto work out. Leave your gym shoes at home and grab your heals. This 30-minute work out will keep you moving with dance moves, building your confidence in moving freely in your heals, while toning your muscles in this fun and sultry work out.

Sexy Beast
Prepare to sweat with our aerial strength and conditioning class. Great for all levels to boost your strength and stamina needed for pole, Lyra and trapeze. This sexy sweaty work out packed with pole climbs, lyra lifts, yoga stool/trapeze exercises. Start seeing faster pole progressing by adding this strengthening class to your weekly training.

*No prior experience needed.

Flex & Flow
This low flow flexibility class will help with improving flexibility and balance while combining movement with sensual and slow dance movements. 

Offered Sundays at several time options. Labeled 1-2 for beginners and levels
intermediate/advanced.



Exotic 
Embrace the sensual and artistic side of pole dancing. This class focuses on bringing together sexy and flowing dance moves from the floor to on and around the pole. An empowering class that encourages you to express your feminine side and build the confidence of moving your body in sensual motions.

Pole & Tell

Maximize your pole practice and share what you've been working on.This class is none instructor lead, but will be present to ensure safe spotting and pole teqniques. One hour allows for plenty of free style practice time. This small class allows for a comfortable place to share and ask questions.  Sharing not required or expected to come and get your pole practice fix. All levels welcome.

Cancellation Policy
Class sizes at Posh-Fit are limited to 12 participants; because of this, when unable to attend a class, participants are required to cancel
and reschedule a class 24 HOURS PRIOR to their scheduled class time. If a 24-Hour notice is not given, that class time will be forfeited.

A 24-HOUR NOTICE is also required to cancel and reschedule a private dance session. The session will be rescheduled during a time that
works for the client, the instructor, and the studio schedule. If a 24-Hour notice is not given, that session will be forfeited.

Refunds will not be given for any classes that are purchased.
